Not looking for a Buck? Wethered (castrated) males make wonderful pets!
All wethers are $175, and come dehorned and are castrated before they go to their new home. Goats are very social herd animals and do need companions so it would be good to have 2. If you need a companion for your females or your buck, a wether is a good choice.
We no longer vaccinate our kids, so it is left to the buyer to vaccinate once they are in your care if you choose to do so. All kids, with the exception of wethers, will be registered with the CLRC, tattooed, disbudded, and had their hooves trimmed before they leave for their new homes.
Terms of Sale
Animals can be reserved once a deposit of $100 per kid is received. The deposit is non-refundable unless the gender specified is not available by the time the last kids are born. Payments can be made by e-transfer or cash.
The remaining balance is due at pick up. If paying by e-transfer the transfer must be made by the pickup date and time. Prices include registration of does and bucks, and castration for wethers.
Bucklings can be picked up after they are 2 months old and doelings can be picked up after they are 3 months old. Once the deposit is received, we will arrange a mutually agreeable pick-up date and time.
Part of providing a healthy animal is maintaining biosecurity measures. Once an animal leaves our care it cannot return. NO EXCEPTIONS. If within 30 days of pick up you feel the goat was not healthy at the time it left us, you will need to substantiate your claim with a full physical exam done by a veterinarian along with any tests required. The purchaser assumes all the costs associated with the diagnostic process. If your claim is substantiated, we will work with you to come to an agreeable solution.
An animal’s growth is affected not only by genetics but by the care and husbandry they receive as they grow, therefore we can make no guarantees as to how an animal may mature.
